PTB Private Party Info

Private parties may be held either at PTB's workshop located in Springfield or offsite in your home, garage, or local restaurant. For private parties held at PTB, the MAXIMUM number of guests in the PTB workshop is 10.    For private parties held at local restaurant's, please provide the restaurant name.  

For offsite parties, a MINIMUM of 5 guests are required if the party is held within 10 miles of Springfield proper).  For private parties beyond the travel radius, guest minimums will go up by 3 for every 30 miles traveled.  For example, a private party at the hosts home that is 30 miles from Springfield would be required to have a minimum of 8 paid guests for the party.  


COVID-19 additional precautions:

If you don’t feel well, have been exposed to COVID-19 in the previous 14 days, or are currently waiting for COVID testing results, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE EVENT!  Contact the shop to reschedule.

Because our slice of polka dot heaven is on the small side, participants will be limited to a maximum of 10 people per session.   Masks are REQUIRED upon entering/exiting the building as well as anytime you are "moving around" (ie, getting supplies, using the restroom, etc) and/or can not keep a 6' distance from other not in your social circle. 

While instructors will be masked at all times when they are in the workshop room with you, you may take your mask off while painting.

Registration for PRIVATE EVENT indicates you understand and personally assume any/all associated risk related to COVID-19 exposure.


Q: Do we all have to make the same shape?

A: NOPE! :) Each person can choose their shape from the shapes listed in the collections.  Want to do a Christmas shape in July?  Go for it!  Want to create a pair of flip-flops in January?  Rock on!  

Q: How do we pick our shape?

A: You will get an email/FB message with a specific link to the party that you and your guests will use to register, pay and pick your shape. 

ALL registrations will need to be made by the registration date deadline or the party will be cancelled and a $25 admin fee will be charged to the hostess. 

Q: What is the cost?

A: MOST shapes are $45 complete.  Customers may choose from a variety of shapes, and SOME shapes are more than $45.  In the event a customer chooses a shape that is more than $45, PTB will communicate with the customer about the cost difference and the customer will pay the difference either through invoice or cash.  The customer does have the opportunity to change their selection prior to 7 days prior to the event.  

No changes to shape selection can be made by any party guest with less than 7 days prior to the event.   

Q: How do we pay?

A: When you register.

Q: What if one of my guests cancels?

A: In the unlikely event the minimum registrations have not been received by date given, the party will be cancelled, all registrations refunded and the hostess charged a $25 admin fee.  Alternate participation options (paint kits, postpone a date) can also be discussed.  

Q: Can we bring snacks & drinks?

A: Yes!  And the drinks can be adult beverages :) 

Q: Do we have to wear masks?

A: Yes, masks are required for the duration of your private party to ensure the safety of all participants and instructors.
