Hey there! I'm so glad you found us — and I can't wait to tell you a little about this wonderfully weird, creativity-filled corner of Springfield, IL.

Our Story

The Painted Tin Bin started with a simple goal:  Help Erin pay off her student loan debt!  Nothing sexy about that, but over the course of the last 10 years, it has grown, evolved, and brought one consistent ideal to people - that everyone can be creative because creativity is perfectly imperfect!! 

This polka dot slice of heaven is  a place where people could put down their phones, pick up a paintbrush, and just make something. No judgment, no pressure, no Pinterest-perfect expectations. Just good vibes, great company, and a little bit of #metalcuteness.

What We Do

We host paint parties and DIY workshops that are equal parts creative and chaotic — in the best possible way. Whether you're planning a girls' night, a birthday bash, a private party, or just a fun afternoon for yourself, we've got a project for you.

Every workshop is guided, so even if the last thing you "made" was a PB&J, you'll walk out with something you're genuinely proud of.
