PTB Private Party Info

Come and create your own #metalcuteness door hanger!!  We bring all the fun - you leave with the cutest door hanger ever!

Private parties may be held either at PTB's workshop located in Springfield or offsite in your home, garage, or local restaurant. For private parties held at PTB, the MAXIMUM number of guests in the PTB workshop is 12.    For private parties held at local restaurant's, please provide the restaurant name.  

For offsite parties, a MINIMUM of 7 guests are required if the party is held within 15 miles of Springfield proper.  For private parties beyond the travel radius, guest minimums will go up by 3 for every 10 miles traveled.  For example, a private party at the hosts home that is 30 miles from Springfield would be required to have a minimum of 10 paid guests for the party.

Private Party FAQ:

Q: Do we all have to make the same shape?

A: NOPE! :) Each person can choose their shape from the shapes listed in the collections.  Want to do a Christmas shape in July?  Go for it!  Want to create a pair of flip-flops in January?  Rock on!  

Q: How do we pick our shape?

A: You will get an email/FB message with a specific link to the party that you and your guests will use to register, pay and pick your shape. 

ALL registrations will need to be made by the registration date deadline or the party will be cancelled and a $25 admin fee will be charged to the hostess. 

Q: What is the cost?

A: MOST shapes are $45 complete.  Customers may choose from a variety of shapes, and SOME shapes are more than $45.  In the event a customer chooses a shape that is more than $45, PTB will communicate with the customer about the cost difference and the customer will pay the difference either through invoice or cash.  The customer does have the opportunity to change their selection prior to 7 days prior to the event.  

No changes to shape selection can be made by any party guest with less than 7 days prior to the event.   

Q: How do we pay?

A: When you register online at PTB's website.  Payment MUST be secured prior to the event or the event will be cancelled.    

Q: What if one of my guests cancels?

A: If 1 person cancels, the cancellation policy is in effect.  If the cancellation is 7 days prior to the event, a full refund will be sent back to the original payment method.  Any cancellation with less than 7 days will have the following options
 - A friend can attend in their place (up to the 2 individuals to hash out payment arrangements) 
 - A paint kit can be made and left with the party hostess so the person can create their shape at home 
 - Arrangements can be made for the person to come to the DIY Workshop space in Springfield and create there 
 - Friends can create their shape during the party for the individual

In the unlikely event the minimum registrations have not been received by date given, the party will be cancelled, all registrations refunded and the hostess charged a $25 admin fee.  Alternate participation options (paint kits, postpone a date) can also be discussed.  

Q: Can we bring snacks & drinks?

A: Yes!  And the drinks can be adult beverages :) Just be sure to bring the correct opener and partake responsibly! 

 

PTB FUN-draiser info

Want to raise funds for a group or nonprofit and have FUN while doing it!?  

Hosting a Fun-Raiser with PTB is as easy as a polka dot!  There are a few options of how the fun-raiser could look.  It can be in the following formats: 

 - In person painting event at a location of your choosing or at PTB 
 - Paint kit fun-raiser with pre-recorded YouTube instructional video(s) 

PTB's donation will be on a sliding scale based on the number of kits/paints registered.

Q:  How do I start the conversation about hosting a PTB Fun-raiser?

Q: Do we all have to make the same shape?

A: There will be a limit on shapes that can be part of the fun-raiser.  Typically 3-5 shapes are selected and participants will register for those shapes only.  Limiting the shapes chosen by participants is a way to keep costs down (less materials, less staff)  

Vinyl options will be limited so as to maximize fund-raising potential.  NO CUSTOMIZATIONS WILL OCCUR FOR FUN-DRAISERS.  

Q: How do we do registration?

A:  Registration can be done via the PTB website or the organizer can conduct registration.  Registration through the PTB website is the most efficient method and causes no delays in getting products to the participants.  A specific link will be created and provided and shared for ease in ordering.  If the organizer wishes to conduct the registration, the organizer is responsible for collecting all taxes and submission.  The organizer is also responsible for providing total numbers to PTB by required timelines.  Failure will result in delay of delivery.  

Q: What is the cost?

A: That is dependent upon the shape size selected and if the organizer wishes to add $5 to the normal price of the shape to ensure maximum fun-draising efforts.

A: When they register online. PTB will provide a check at the live event or at paint kit delivery.
